The Indianapolis Colts may have brought in some help at the wide receiver position via free agency, but there is still a need for them to add talent through the 2019 NFL Draft.

While there are several prospects to consider in each round at the wide receiver position, we will narrow down the one or two best options for the Colts throughout the draft. The players are not the only ones the team should consider but likely the best combination of talent and value.

Here’s a wide receiver prospect for the Colts in each round of the draft:

Round 1 – None

Most are likely expecting D.K. Metcalf’s name here, but the assumption is he will be off the board by the time the Colts are on the clock. Outside of taking a risk on his upside, the Colts shouldn’t use their first-round pick on any wide receiver in the draft. There is a better chance they can find value at more important positions or even trade back out of the first round and stockpile even more picks.
