Bowl projections for Auburn ahead of final College Football Playoff rankings - AL.com

The hay is in the barn, and the college football regular season and conference championships are in the books.

All that’s left now is the final College Football Playoff rankings, the reveal of the four-team field and the rest of the bowl season matchups. Those will be revealed Sunday , with the top four announced by the committee first at 11 a.m. CT before the New Year’s Six matchups are unveiled at 2 p.m. CT, followed by the rest of the postseason matchups.

Where will Auburn land? Well, after Saturday’s conference championship results, the Tigers’ outside chances at a New Year’s Six bowl seem unlikely, and Auburn appears headed to one of the bowl games in Florida -- either the Citrus Bowl in Orlando or the Outback Bowl in Tampa, most likely.
