LOS ANGELES – Will LeBron James play point guard? Will DeMarcus Cousins start alongside Anthony Davis again? What will Kyle Kuzma’s role be?
People have been speculating about the Lakers’ potential starting lineup since the team rounded out its roster this offseason. But LeBron James may have revealed his ideal starting-five via NBA 2K20.
On Wednesday, James posted videos to Instagram of him playing the game, which hits retailers on Sept. 6, with the Lakers new roster. One of the videos features a lineup of James, Davis, Cousins, Danny Green and Avery Bradley.
Such a lineup would make sense in terms of three-point shooting and backcourt defense, giving James primary ball handling duties. Whether or not things play out that way under new coach Frank Vogel is yet to be seen.
