As the NBA continues the actions of the offseason and free agency, a former Pella standout is searching for a new home. ESPN reported that Kyle Korver was traded from the Utah Jazz to the Phoenix Suns Wednesday, who then plan to waive Korver to free agency. Korver, who turned 38 in March, has played 16 seasons in the NBA for five different franchises. Korver is one of the greatest three-point shooters in the history of the association, hitting 2,351 in his career–good for 4th most all time, with his career .429 shooting percentage the 9th best mark in league history. Kyle Korver graduated from Pella High School in 1999, as an all-state player who made three trips to the state tournament.
